Flowers Blossomed out of Broken Concrete

This work was created after August 4, 2020, in a studio that was destroyed by the blast, in a building that was left with no glass not shattered, no door standing, no window unbroken. The people who live in this building, and I who work in this building, we were all spared, at 6.07pm no one was in the building. The building took the blast alone. Not everyone was so lucky, hundreds died, children, Elias, Alexandra, Isaac, thousands wounded. Five years later I still find broken glass in my studio in the most unexpected places. Five years later flowers blossomed out of broken concrete.
