Star Disoriented
Metal, paper, maps , nails and acrylic
2014
Whether myth or reality, it is widely believed that the star of
Bethlehem guided three royal visitors to the new born. It's one
unique shining star hanging in the sky. Today with all what is
happening in the Middle East, this shining star might be lost.
Star Disoriented is a work about broken geography
and disrupted lives. But despite all, it's also a work about keeping
the hope for a better future alive, hence one side will remain
shining.
Displayed on the street level of Zaytouné Bay until the end of
February 2015 This sculpture is part of FIELD OF STARS a fund
raising exhibition to the benefit of 26 local NGO's caring for
children. Sponsored by MATISSE EVENTS, MACAM and PRODEV SAL
